Generally at both simple stud and stud hi/lo game formats are same except strategy plan which is completely different from each other and basic principle of 7-card stud hi/lo generates with two winning hands for each game where highest and lowest hand can split the pot.


But this game will play just like as usual 7-card stud and at this game table players deal two face-down “hole” cards and a face-up “door” card. Then dealer deals to each player in turn three more face up cards and one face down card where highest and lowest hand will split the pot.

On game table to qualify as a lower hand can’t have any card higher than an eight; although as on game situation an ace will count as both low and high card, but possibility arise at low hand where A-2-3-4-5.

On game table for deciding the highest hand players need to use standard hand rankings and to decide best low hand need to use highest low card; but next lowest card and so on can use suppose at game table two players share same high card. As on game rule highest hand can take whole pot if any hands qualifying as a low hand where every hand must hold a card and its value more than 8.

The Stakes: At the table list players can see the stakes column where at each stud hi/lo game stake will dictate betting and raising amount for each betting round. Here lower number will use at 1st two rounds and higher number will use at last three.

Antes: On game table every player must have to add a small bet which will do at starting of every hand and it is called ante.

The Cap:  Here players can bet at each round of betting where three allowable raises are present and it is known as cap.
